Skin Prep: DO take care of your skin by exfoliating, hydrating, and protecting. Please inform us of any skin conditions such as...

eczema

rash

swelling

bruising

any type of inflammation

around the brow and facial area.

Multivitamins: Refrain from taking any multivitamins containing omegas and fish oil. Any medications with blood thinning effects will compromise how well the pigment retains in the skin. We recommend for approximately two weeks before, as they may sometimes lead to increased skin sensitivity and redness during the treatment.

Skincare products: It is also advisable to avoid any skincare treatments as well as using harsh chemical products such as...

anti-aging (retinol),

anti-acne,

anti-hyperpigmentation

skin care products for at least 4 weeks prior to the treatment.

Botox and Injectables: Avoid receiving any botox or injectables in the facial area for 2 weeks prior or 2 week after your permanent makeup treatment.

Question: Is it better to receive botox Before or After the brows.

Answer: Before! Relaxed brow muscles help the skin to absorb pigment easier allowing for a smoother healing.

Allergies: Please inform us of any allergies that you may experience. It is highly recommended to avoid any food sensitivities prior to your appointment to promote healing optimally. It is also recommended to take any anti-histamine medicines as needed prior to your appointment

Contraindications: Pregnant or nursing mothers are advised against receiving any permanent makeup treatments, as well as individuals with a weakened immune system.

If you are under a physicians care please inform us prior to receiving any services, including:

Preparing on the day of your appointment:

If you have a specific look you're wanting to achieve, sharing some photos or videos may help. Otherwise, just an open mind.

It's not necessary to take any pain medication. However we do recommend if allergy prone to take anti-histimine medication as needed.

Eat a light snack + be hydrated. Avoid caffeine, alcohol or any stimulants to remain relaxed during your session.

Be prepared to refrain from exercise for 7 days after session.

Yes! You can wash your face afterwards. For optimal results, we ask you to avoid a shower for 24 hours post session. Showering prior to your appointment is recommended for your comfort.

Aftercare information (instructions for what to do and/or not do in the weeks following your appointment at Browtheory Studio):

Spray the recovery solution on cotton pad and blot your brows. The spray is an anti-inflammation solution that help reduce any redness, swelling and promotes hydration. We suggest every 10-15 minutes up to 2 hours.

Protect the area with ointment or cream: We recommend using a specific ointment or cream to keep the area moisturized and protected.

Wait for the 7-10 days of healing to pass before placing any judgement. This may be the hardest part of the process. The top layers of the skin will shed revealing a soft more powdered finish. In general, expect 25% less in size and 40% less in color density.

AVOID:

- While sleeping avoid rubbing face into pillowcase or side sleeping.

- Avoid shower for the first 24 hours after procedure and hot steam showers for the remaining healing process. Washing your face is still highly recommended.

Refrain from recreational water activities, jacuzzi, immersing your face in water.

- Avoid Sweat. Exercise speeds up recovery and may not allow skin to properly absorb pigment. Please avoid 5 days post treatment.

- Minimize sun exposure. The sun is very damaging for healing skin. Consider hats and shaded areas. Please avoid direct sunlight.

- The healing process for airbrush powder brows may vary from person to person, as everyone's skin heals at a different rate.

STAGES OF HEALING and WHAT TO EXPECT

Day 1: Immediately after the procedure, the treated area may appear red and the skin tender. The pigment may also appear darker and more intense than the final color.

Day 2-3: The pigment will appear darker and the size may feel thicker, more intense than the final color and size of shape.

Day 3-7: The treated area will continue to heal and the pigment will start to become more defined and settle into the skin.

Day 5-10: The treated area will continue to heal and the pigment will start to become more defined and settle into the skin.

Week 6-8: The final color of the pigment should be visible at this point. The color may appear softer than expected, as it will naturally fade slightly over time.

12-18 Months: The pigment will continue to fade gradually over time and may need to be refreshed with a touch-up session to maintain the desired look.

- New Client Signature Airbrush Ombre Powder Brows: Master artist Lisa Le $950, Lead studio artist Michelle $650. Lisa's signature technique born from a decade-long quest to perfect the ultimate ombre powder brow. This unique method uses specially designed layers of pigment to create a soft, natural-looking brow with a delicate, powdery finish that sits on top of the skin, emulating the dimension and definition of brow powder. Exclusively available at Browtheory Studio, this service includes a complimentary perfecting touchup to ensure HEALED results (our focus is on healed results, not just immediately after the appointment) are flawlessly symmetrical and saturated.

- Annual Brow Touchup (timeframe = 12-18 months since last appointment - existing clients only): Lisa $400, Michelle $350. To keep your brows looking fresh and flawless, we recommend a touchup every 12 to 18 months from previous session. This essential service ensures your brows stay soft and natural, yet crisp and defined. Designed to fade naturally over time as your skin renews, the Airbrush technique prevents harsh, inked-in appearances and maintains true shape and color. The annual touchup is vital for maintaining the desired look, allowing your brows to heal beautifully and stay stunning year-round.

- Brow Resurrection Service (existing clients only): Lisa $500, Michelle $400. Our Brow Resurrection Service is perfect for returning clients who are beyond the recommended annual touchup timeframe, specifically if it’s been 18 to 36 months since your last appointment. Compared to an annual touchup, Resurrection involves a more intensive session to fully rejuvenate your brows, refreshing the pigment, reshaping, and restoring definition to like when they were brand new. For some, a second Perfecting Touchup may be needed to achieve the desired look, especially if significant fading has occurred.

- New Brow Transformation: Lisa $950, Michelle $750. Revitalize your brows with our Brow Transformation Service, designed for clients with previous permanent makeup done at another studio. Whether you’re looking to change the shape, switch from microblading to ombre powder, or correct color issues, we tailor our approach to your unique needs. Each case is examined individually to ensure the best possible outcome, giving you the beautiful, natural-looking brows you desire. Experience the artistry and precision of our bespoke transformation process, and fall in love with your brows all over again. This service includes a free perfecting touchup, however clients should note that sometimes a 3rd touchup may be needed to achieve optimal healed results - any additional perfecting touchups will be billed "a la carte" as needed at to address any minor imperfections at $250. This $250 perfecting touchup is only valid to be booked for up to 16 weeks after their brow transformation service.

- New Client Color Pop Lip Blush: Michelle $650.

- Color Pop Lip Annual Touchup: Michelle $400.

- Lip Transformation (for clients with previous lip pmu done elsewhere): Michelle $650.

- New Client Classic Eyeliner: Lisa or Michelle $650.

- Eyeliner Annual Touchup: Lisa or Michelle $400.

- New Client Lash Enhancement: Lisa or Michelle $550.

- In-studio brow consultation (you can offer this to the leads if they would like the option to be seen in-person): Lisa or Michelle $55.

About Touchups

- All "New" services (New brows, new brow transformation, new eyeliner, new lips) come with a free "perfecting" touchup that must be done 6-12 weeks after the initial session. This perfecting touchup is where the artist will make any fine adjustments to shape and color in order to perfect the saturation, shape, and symmetry. This is included in the price of the New service.

- Perfecting Touchup (Existing clients only): The perfecting touchup isn’t included with the Brow Resurrection service (it is only included with the "New" services like New Signature Airbrush Powder Ombre Brow, New Brow transformation, New Color Pop Lips, etc). It’s an optional service priced at $250, designed on an “as needed” basis since everyone’s skin retains pigment differently we find that only about 25% of client require a perfecting touchup.

- Perfecting Brow Touchup (a la carte brow touchup for when an additional touchup is needed to achieve the desired healed results - must be booked within 16 weeks of their last appointment): $250. Sometimes, additional perfecting touchup appointment may be recommended in order to achieve the desired healed result. For example: our Brow Transformation service includes a free perfecting touchup 6 weeks after the initial appointment - however a 3rd touchup is sometimes needed to fully correct the color and shape to achieve the best possible healed results. Perfecting Touchups are offered for existing clients only. The perfecting touchup is designed on an “as needed” basis since everyone’s skin retains pigment differently. We find that only about 25% of clients require a perfecting touchup.
